At Northville Watch and Clock Shop,
we know that your clock or watch is more than a timepiece, it's a part of your families history. We understand you don't want to trust it with just any repair shop, so we have put together this website so you can feel confident in trusting us to do the job needed. We value our customers and we take our time and knowledge to fix your time-pieces right. There aren't many clock shops left, especially with a qualified trained staff and the resources like our shop.
We love what we do, and have many wonderful customers that understand how busy we are. We know how much you love your timepiece, but also know that we work as quickly as we can without compromising quality.
Many of the antique clocks and watches we get in for repair have had previous poor repair work. We don't do half-jobs, parts jobs, or slipshod repairs. We can't install your parts or do only the part of the repair you may want us to. We only do the full complete job the first time, work we can warranty for you.

In 1965 The State of Michigan enacted Act 201, which required anyone doing business in the field of clock or watch repair pass an exam to be licensed by the State Board of Horology. This was to insure a reasonable quality of standards to protect consumers.
Fifteen years later in 1980, the State dissolved the Board, and after 1980 anyone could say they are qualified, but by what standards? In 1980 Michigan had 527 licensed Horologists, today there are very few qualified repair people and shops.
We are closed on Mondays to move Grandfather
